Perceived quality of internships and employability perceptions: the mediating role of career-entry worries

Purpose This study illuminates the assumption that internships facilitate labor market entry and answers question of why have a positive effect on students' self-perceived employability. It is assumed enable more employability perceptions by reducing career-entry worries – not finding suitable job or being able to obtain satisfactory career. Design/methodology/approach A two-wave among graduate students currently in an internship investigated these relationships. Data worries, perceived evaluation were collected from 80 (mean age: 24.6 years, 68% female) various fields aiming at both bachelor's master's degrees. Findings The results showed positively evaluated contributed graduates' means reduced over eight-week period.
